If you have excellent customer service and communication skills, have a great sense of urgency, an excellent attention to detail, have a desire to learn about and work in the veterinary medical profession, and love animals, this may be the position for you! Responsibilities and Duties Upholding our standards of care and customer service while also: Answering phone calls Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment scheduler Assisting veterinarians Filling medications, prescription diets (up to 35 lbs), and other products/items as requested Communicating effectively with clients in various types of situations Using the computer/various technology to accurately retrieve records, print daily reports, and complete projects as needed Promoting the hospital through the use of the hospital's social media account(s) Learning and exercising knowledge in basic veterinary principals Cash handling and discharging patients through the use of veterinary software General maintenance of the front desk/reception area Acting as the face of the clinic, greeting clients and helping them out as needed Qualifications and Skills Everyone working with Ingersoll Animal Hospital embraces our high standards of customer service and veterinary care. Patient Care Coordinators play a pivotal role in our practice and are the first and last contact for our clients. They must strive to create positive lasting impressions and inspire our team to keep excelling as we continue to grow.
REQUIREMENTS
Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent. Ability to type 45 words per minute or more. Ability to lift 35+ lbs. Customer service experience preferred, veterinary knowledge or experience is a plus but not required. Must be available Saturdays in addition to varying hours throughout the week. Must pass a routine background check and drug screen. Benefits

  • 6pm Saturdays from 7am
