Job Description
Midwest Healthcare Linen Service is looking for a Laundry Supervisor. We are located in Des Moines, IA and have been in the Healthcare laundry business since 2007. The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for ensuring optimum machinery and personnel efficiencies of assigned areas in order for the plant to run effectively. The Laundry Supervisor is also responsible for executing the plant objectives including financial, safety, associate development, quality, and customer service. The Laundry Supervisor will manage a team ranging from 20-40 full-time employees. This is a hands-on supervisory position. Skills Proven experience in laundry operations, including knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment. Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage a team. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of production. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
