JOB SUMMARY
This individual consults, advises and assists the Chief of Clinic and Director of Clinic Services in providing leadership and direction in coordinating operational activities of clinic services with Pella Regional Health Services at one or more sites. This position is responsible for ensuring that the operational activities across all sites are uniform w possible and in alignment with overall PRHC strategic goals and initiatives. A Clinic Manager may be assigned one or more departments and/or physical sites. Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • A minimum of 1 years of supervisory/management experience, 2 years preferred, in a healthcare setting with previous experience in a clinic setting highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Healthcare background highly preferred. A degree in nursing (LPN, RN) with prior experience in both clinic operations and staff management may be substituted for other degree.
  • Must possess a valid Iowa driver's license and meet satisfactory motor vehicle record requirements.
  • Must maintain and provide proof of his/her own auto insurance policy.
  • Ability to read andmunicate effectively in English.
  • High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others.
  • Ability tomunicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Leadership skills associated with this position.
  • Competence withputer skills such as email, Microsoft office suite, etc.
  • Technical and Critical Thinking Skills
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing practices.
