What we're looking for The Clinic Manager facilitates the patient referral process and obtains appropriate pre-certifications as requested by the provider(s). Responsible for greeting patients; check-in, check-out, scheduling and managing telephones and messages. Collects and posts co-pays, deductibles and past due patient balances at the time of service. How you'll contribute To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization. Manage staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Perform and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements. Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Create and foster an environment that encourages professional growth. Ensure department stay focused on their important role in the continuum of care. Regular and reliable attendance. Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information:
Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers, clients, patients, contractors, and vendors. Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work and ensure quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in related field required . Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education .
Schedule:
