Patient Access and Pre-Services Manager 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars 404 Jefferson Street, Pella, IA 50219 Pella Regional Health 64 reviews The Patient Access Manager leads the registration and pre-services teams at Pella Regional Health Center. The Manager provides strategic and operational oversight of the 24/7 Patient Access and Pre-Services Departments, partnering with the Patient Access Supervisor to support day-to-day operations, staff management, and performance, while driving customer service, patient satisfaction, staff development, and fiscal outcomes. This role supports departmental financial management, quality assurance initiatives, and process improvement efforts. The Patient Access Manager partners closely with various departments to ensure appropriate patient placement, accurate registration, and seamless coordination across departments. This position reports to the Revenue Cycle Director, and works in close collaboration with the Patient Access Supervisor and Business Office Manager. Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities: Bachelor's Degree required plus 5 years of experience in related field preferred. Strong customer service skills. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and oral skills. Ability to deal effectively with the public. Ability to communicate tactfully, with an emphasis on customer-service. Strong computer knowledge with the ability to learn specific computer system for scheduling and patient check in/check out. Technical skills associated with a clerical position. Strong problem solving skills and decision making ability. Demonstrate an aptitude toward a leadership role.
