20064 Position Summary Responsible for overseeing & coordinating operations of assigned Kootenai Clinic services including existing practices, acquisitions, and new service line implementation. Responsibilities
- Translates strategic directives into tactical initiatives, leading performance improvement activities across multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintains excellent relationships with providers by proactively communicating issues
- Works with cross-functional teams within the organization to deliver operational and clinical excellence within budgetary boundaries
- Provides direction for clinic supervisors, staff, and physicians
- Monitors the day-to-day operations of the clinics and services
- Responsible for ensuring that high quality, safe patient care is given and that there is economical and efficient performance
- Collaborates with other practice managers to ensure standardized practice meets regulatory requirements
- Responsible for developing and monitoring overall budget and the ongoing financial management of assigned areas
- Uses analytic skills to assess trends and improvement opportunities to implement new programs to maintain/improve patient volumes and access to care
- Prepares business cases to support provider and staff recruitment
- Encourages and supports outreach activities
- Leads and directs the work of others
- A high degree of creativity and latitude is required
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
- Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration/management, nursing leadership or business related field required, or in progress with expected completion within 2 years of hire
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a healthcare administrative setting required
- Broad and intensive knowledge of hospital administrative and allied health practices to include knowledge of the clinical program development, revenue cycle management, and marketing and performance improvement Working Conditions
- Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
- Typical equipment used in a clinical and office job
