MEDICAL BILLING MANAGER NEEDED
(Hospice experience preferred)WORK SCHEDULE
The Billing Manager typically works full-time (40 hours per week) on-site Monday - Friday . This position is NOT open for remote work. Hospice of North Idaho in Coeur d'Alene, ID is looking to hire an experienced on-site full-time Billing Manager . Oversees the preparation of medical bills and invoices, the calculation of provider charges, and verification of patient insurance. Maintains insurance documents, payer contracts, and credentialing for facility and providers. Responsible for the submission of all claims, collections and other accounts receivable functions of the agency. Ensures billing operations are performed in an accurate and timely manner. Billing Manager evaluates billing processes and procedures and assists management in developing revisions. Monitors the revenue cycle activities and resolves any issues. Must be familiar with ICD-10, CPT, and/or HCPCS Coding Systems as well as claim forms such as CMS-1500 and UB-04. Requires knowledge of government payer sources, the eligibility requirements for billing, coding, and the process for submitting appeals on denied claims.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS degree; medical billing and/or coding experience or certification required; minimum three years' experience within a healthcare billing role required; hospice billing experience preferred; valid driver's license and evidence of insurance coverage as required by HONI policy required.READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
