The person in this role must have must hold their
LCSW, LCPC, LMFT
licensure. Position Summary The Clinical Supervisor makes a meaningful difference in the lives of families served by the National Youth Advocate Program. This position is responsible for the management, quality, and administration of the clinical programming, such as the provision of clinical leadership and direct supervision for assigned staff. The Clinical Supervisor serves as a member of the management team, ensuring sound clinical practices in programming according to the NYAP mission, vision, and values. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Clinical Supervisor will perform duties including, but not limited to: Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Programs mission, values, and philosophies Provide clinical oversight for clinical programs, screen referrals upon admission, case assignment, and ensure all initial documentation is completed on time. Responsible for the development and implementation of training plans for treatment and service team members. Attend team meetings and provide clinical consultation and feedback to the treatment team to assure high-quality and effective services. Provide consultation and advocacy on behalf of clients with community agencies and other providers. Provide on-call services to respond to after-hour emergencies and crises based on program needs. Responsible for the direct supervision of the following, based on program needs: Provide weekly group and/or individual supervision. Review all new clients with assigned staff to identify immediate treatment needs and/or safety concerns. Review and cosign Individual Service/Treatment Plans and Diagnostic Assessments. Review and ensure completion of monthly and quarterly reports, as required. Review and approve clinical documentation, including IM+CANS, to fulfill the requirements of Medicaid Rule 132/140 and other payor rules. Evaluate direct service staff performance. Regularly participate in quality assurance activities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in social services or other related human service field Independent License professional (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) 3 years' experience in the field of human services, with experience in supervision Must hold a graduate-level social work or counseling license if required by state law and/or regulatory bodies. Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers, as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs Must be willing to obtain car insurance requirements of 100,000/300,000 bodily injury and current driver's license.
