Front Desk / Patient Support Coordinator Private Optometry Practice - Western Suburbs of Chicago Our growing private optometry practice is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Front Desk / Patient Support Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a positive team environment, and is eager to learn and grow within the practice. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills and a professional, compassionate attitude. Previous medical office experience is a plus, but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Greet and check patients in and out Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments Verify and update patient information Collect payments and review basic insurance information Maintain organized patient records and front desk workflow Assist patients with questions and provide excellent customer service Support the clinical and administrative team as needed Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Positive attitude and professional demeanor Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Team-oriented mindset Previous medical or optical office experience is helpful, but not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid time off Employee discounts on eyewear and eye care services Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Schedule Full-time or part-time opportunities available.
