Director of Clinical Operations 899 - Normal, IL 61761 Apply Overview Salary Range $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 Salary/year Position Type Full Time Job Shift Day Category Health Care Apply Description One to One Health is looking for an Occupational Health Director to lead and work alongside our clinic staff in Normal, Illinois! Position Summary The Occupational Health Director will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite health clinic, ensuring that all employee health, safety, and wellness services are delivered effectively and in compliance with applicable regulations. The Director will work closely with their VP, HR, and leadership to foster a safe and healthy work environment, support the well-being of employees.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the day-to-day operations of the onsite health clinic, ensuring efficient and high-quality care for employees. Coordinate clinic scheduling, staffing, and resources to ensure availability and timely delivery of services. Oversee inventory management, including medical supplies and equipment. Plan, implement, and monitor employee health and wellness programs, such as health screenings, immunizations (e.g., flu shots), fitness challenges, and stress management initiatives. Support employees in managing chronic health conditions, mental health concerns, and work-life balance through wellness education and individualized care plans. Promote preventative health strategies to reduce absenteeism, improve productivity, and enhance overall employee health. Collaborate with the safety team to identify potential health hazards and work to mitigate risks related to ergonomics, hazardous materials, and workplace injuries. Provide advice and recommendations on workplace safety policies and practices to prevent injuries and illnesses. Assist in the development of return-to-work programs for employees recovering from injuries or medical conditions. Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, HIPAA, and other local, state, and federal regulations related to occupational health. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with privacy laws and organizational policies. Monitor, report, and analyze health trends within the workforce, identifying areas for improvement. Assist in audits, inspections, and safety reviews to ensure ongoing Manage employee medical leave, workers' compensation claims, and return-to-work programs in collaboration with HR and safety teams. Provide guidance and support for employees dealing with medical conditions that may impact work performance or safety. Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance carriers to ensure proper case management and timely resolution of claims. Lead educational initiatives focused on health topics such as nutrition, mental health, stress management, exercise, and safety. Develop and distribute health communication materials, including newsletters, posters, and online resources, to engage employees in wellness activities. Organize health-related events like wellness fairs, fitness challenges, or seminars to encourage employee participation in health programs. Supervise and mentor clinic staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and other health professionals. Provide guidance and training to clinic staff on best practices, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with HR, safety, and leadership teams to align clinic services with organizational goals. Track and analyze key health metrics to assess the effectiveness of wellness programs and clinic services. Provide regular reports to senior management on clinic performance, employee health trends, and program outcomes. Manage client relationship and take feedback to senior leadership. Identify opportunities to enhance clinic operations and implement improvements based on data analysis and feedback. Qualifications Necessary Skills- Flexibility with quick critical thinking skills is essential.
- Analytical skills necessary to accurately follow the latest facility policies and legal regulations.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.
- Skilled communicator with the interpersonal skills to collaborate with various professionals, including physicians, providers, nurses, medical assistants, and clients.
- Problem-solving skills to implement a creative solution that will not compromise patient care. Minimum Qualifications
- At least two years' experience in practice management.
- Willing to travel required Reporting Relationships Practice Coordinators at each clinic location report to the Director of Clinical Operations.
