This is an Hourly position. Overview This job is located in Peoria,IL 2-12 hour shifts 24 hours a week- 3rd shift 6pm-6am
POSITION SUMMARY
The Unit Health Coordinator provides administrative, clerical, and unit-based coordination support for an assigned nursing unit, including computer operations and telephone/communication management. Serves as a key liaison for the nursing care manager, staff nurses, physicians, ancillary departments, patients, and visitors by facilitating efficient workflow, supporting accurate documentation, and contributing to a high-quality patient care experience within scope of role. High School Diploma/ GED Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient-centered care.
