Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Rehabilitation Services Manager is a licensed therapist who manages, plans, implements, and evaluates department operations and activities; provides leadership for a rehabilitation entity. The Manager plays a key role in assuring quality service, patient and team member satisfaction, compliance with current policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and fiscal responsibility. This leadership opportunity oversees a highly engaged staff across three outpatient rehabilitation locations, including a brand-new clinic in Dunlap scheduled to open in January 2027. The department maintains a close partnership with Children's Hospital of Illinois (CHOI) and plays an active role in strategic planning initiatives that support the future growth and destination vision of pediatric services within OSF. The program also partners with the Almost Home Kids and the OSF Foundation, creating unique opportunities for growth and community impact. This team also values a positive culture and community engagement, regularly participating in fun events and activities. Previous pediatric rehabilitation or leadership experience is not required for success in this role. Instead, we are seeking a highly organized and collaborative leader who excels at communication, follows through on commitments, fosters accountability, and effectively supports team performance.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a therapy specialty
Experience:
3 years of clinical experience in acute care and/or outpatient facility
Licensure/Certifications:
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Pathologist in the respective state
Other Licenses/Certifications:
American Heart BLS or obtain within 90 days of hire Other skills/knowledge: Excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner Knowledge of the therapy process thereby enabling him/her to assess, analyze, plan, implement, and evaluate the rehab care provided Displays problem identification and conflict resolution necessary in personnel management Professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Demonstrated ability to work well with others
