Our practice is continuously improving how care is delivered through workflow modernization and the use of technology to support patient flow, communication, and clinical documentation within our electronic medical record system (eClinicalWorks). We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a technology-supported environment, adaptable to change, and interested in growing with a practice that is actively evolving. This is a highly collaborative outpatient setting where Clinical Coordinators work closely with physicians, physician assistants and clinical staff to ensure efficient daily operations and a smooth patient experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities This role supports both front desk and clinical operations to ensure smooth clinic flow. Responsibilities include managing patient check-in and check-out, coordinating patient movement throughout the clinic, and supporting an efficient visit experience. You will room patients, prepare exam areas, and collect intake information such as vitals, social history, medications, and visit reason. You will assist providers during exams and minor procedures as needed, and ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (eClinicalWorks). Additional responsibilities include answering and triaging phone calls, supporting front desk communication, ensuring exam rooms are reset and stocked between patients, and contributing to daily team coordination and workflow improvement efforts. Requirements We are seeking someone who is professional, dependable, and confident in a patient-facing role. High School Diploma or GED required CPR certification + 1-3 years of experience in a clinical, medical office, or patient-facing healthcare setting Comfortable performing basic clinical support tasks such as rooming patients and taking vitals Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients Energetic, reliable, and collaborative team player Comfortable using EMRs Comfortable traveling to Chicago occasionally for training or coverage support
