Job Description

Are you the person who can make a patient feel welcome, keep a busy schedule moving, and confidently walk someone through their treatment options? Bloom Dental is looking for an experienced Patient Coordinator to join our Indianapolis team. This is more than a check-in and check-out position. You will play a big part in the overall patient experience and help keep the front office running smoothly each day. The right person will be comfortable wearing several hats. You may be answering phones, helping a new patient get scheduled, collecting a payment, filling an opening in the schedule, checking insurance information, or talking with a patient about their recommended treatment. Treatment planning is an important part of this position, so experience reviewing treatment plans, discussing estimated costs, explaining payment options, and following up on unscheduled treatment is highly preferred. What you'll be doing Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable Answering phones and responding to patient messages Scheduling new and existing patients Checking patients in and out Collecting and posting payments Reviewing insurance information and patient balances Confirming appointments and helping keep the schedule full Updating patient information, account notes, and communication Reviewing treatment plans with patients Explaining estimated costs and payment options Scheduling recommended treatment Following up with patients who have not scheduled Working closely with the doctors, clinical team, and front office team Jumping in wherever needed to help the office have a successful day You may be a great fit if you: Have previous dental front office experience Have experience with treatment planning or treatment coordination Are comfortable discussing money and financial options with patients Know how to be warm and caring while still keeping things moving Are organized and follow through Can manage several priorities without losing the details Enjoy being part of a team and helping others Are confident using dental software and office technology At Bloom Dental, we want our patients to feel welcomed, informed, and cared for. Up to $28.00 per hour
