Schedule 9:30am-6:00pm Monday-Friday (no weekends or holidays) Work Location Frankfort Hospital Primary Responsibilities Responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy (PT/OT/ST) departments, ensuring efficient patient flow for both inpatient and outpatient services. Provides timely, accurate, and professional administrative support that contributes to high-quality patient care and overall departmental effectiveness. Support the daily operations of the Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy departments to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow for inpatient and outpatient services. Provide timely, accurate, and professional administrative support to contribute to high-quality patient care. Greet and assist patients and visitors courteously and professionally upon arrival; facilitate efficient check-in and check-out processes. Coordinate, schedule, and confirm therapy appointments in alignment with provider availability and patient needs. Maintain accurate patient demographic, insurance, and financial information within appropriate systems. Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct patients, visitors, and callers to appropriate personnel or departments. Collaborate with the Prior Authorization team to ensure insurance approvals are obtained and maintained for all therapy services. Communicate regularly with therapy providers, physician offices, and payers to support accurate documentation, scheduling needs, and continuity of care. Order, monitor, and maintain departmental supplies and inventory to ensure operational readiness. Assist with identifying and troubleshooting operational or workflow issues within the therapy departments. Support and participate in departmental performance improvement and process enhancement initiatives. Participate in required training, including infection control, equipment usage, regulatory compliance, organizational safety, and fire safety. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Meet departmental expectations for productivity, quality, and customer service while contributing to overall operational goals. Requirements High School Diploma/GED is required. Preferred Qualifications 0-3 years Customer Service/Medical experience desired. Minimum one-year medical office experience or combination of extensive customer service work experience and education in insurance verification, patient registration and medical terminology preferred. Requires basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS). We are an equal opportunity employer.
