Clinical Manager Department:
Clinical Direct Report to: Clinical Director
PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Clinical Manager (CM), is a lead management member of the treatment team, functioning as one of the primary facilitators for clients on the continuum between admission and discharge. The CM will collaborate with the Clinical Director routinely, assist in monitoring the progress of treatment plans, and assist in group program development assignments, and implementation.
SCOPE:
Under the immediate supervision of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Manager is responsible for assisting with each component of client treatment planning, including programmatic implementation, intake, and discharge.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health discipline, Counseling, Social Work, or related field, with a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience. Clinical license eligible is required (LCAC, LMHC, LCSW). The ability to prioritize and multi-task, with exceptional time management skills. Ability to competently encourage and inspire direct reports in the delivery of stellar clinical services through professionalism. Demonstration of an adolescent-centered team approach, with advanced computer skills. Understanding of Behavioral Health & substance abuse disorders. Scheduling flexibility
REQUIRED
to accommodate varied client admissions, including weekend and on-call assignments. Reliable transportation is required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports and assists with budget expectations of the Clinical Department Responsible for case management staff activities on all shifts including weekends Supports Case Manager position as needed Works therapist position as needed Adheres to DMHA and Life Safety regulations Adheres to Joint Commission Requirements Provides initial screening for potential client admission as needed Reports corrective action needs and recommends disciplinary action to CD Audits the EMR for all clients to ensure timely and accurate clinical documentation Reports safety hazards Executive Director Performs appropriate hand hygiene throughout the shift Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately Additional duties as assigned by the Clinical Director or Executive Director. Participates in performance improvement activities, including completing competency reviews and training. Attend weekly staffing meetings with treatment team. Audit Team documentation in EMR Process group two times per week with current client case load. As this is not an all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned as required by Patient and Facility needs.
