Job Description:
Flint Hills Technical College is seeking an Allied Health Director. The Allied Health Director serves as the instructor for Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) courses and Course Supervisor for the Allied Health programs in accordance with requirements established by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS). This is an on-site position and is not eligible for remote work.
Qualifications:
Hold a current Kansas Registered Nurse license or current RN unencumbered license Minimum of two years full-time licensed nursing experience (LPN or RN) including one of the following: At least 1,750 hours of that experience must be as a licensed nurse in a setting which demonstrates long-term nursing … care, such as an adult care home, long term care unit of a hospital or a state institution for those with mental and physical disabilities. Meet at least one of the following requirements: Experience supervising nurse aides OR Experience teaching adults OR Complete a course in teaching adults OR Complete a professional continuing education offering on supervision or adult education
Compensation:
10-month position (August through May), unclassified, FLSA Exempt, staff position Salary range: $65,000
  • 75,000 Potential to earn adjunct pay during June and July while teaching additional courses Annual salary is distributed over 12 months Benefits include but not limited to: 100% Employer-paid health insurance for the employee Paid holidays: Labor Day Veteran's Day Fall Break (November 25
