99/hour (Based on Experience) Position Overview The Surgery Manager will lead daily perioperative operations, ensuring efficient workflow, staffing optimization, patient safety, and regulatory compliance within the Operating Room. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, supporting quality initiatives, and fostering strong collaboration among surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing teams, and hospital leadership. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical leader with recent Operating Room leadership experience and a solid background in perioperative services, robotics, and orthopedic surgery. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily Operating Room operations including staffing, scheduling, workflow, and productivity Coordinate surgical schedules to maximize efficiency and resource utilization Monitor staffing patterns and labor management initiatives Ensure compliance with AORN standards, hospital policies, and patient safety protocols Lead perioperative quality improvement and performance initiatives Analyze operational metrics, statistical data, and department performance reports Support inventory management, supply utilization, and process improvement efforts Maintain regulatory readiness and risk management best practices Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, nursing staff, and leadership Promote positive patient, physician, and employee satisfaction outcomes Provide operational leadership and clinical support across perioperative services Qualifications Required Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Active RN License or Compact RN License (as applicable) BLS Certification within 30 days of hire 3+ years of recent Operating Room experience in an acute care hospital setting 3+ years of recent leadership experience as Charge RN, OR Supervisor, or OR Manager General Surgery experience required Preferred Skills Strong knowledge of perioperative operations and surgical workflow management Experience with robotics and orthopedic surgical services Excellent leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills Ability to drive operational efficiency and quality outcomes For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
