Direct Care Expectation:
Approx. 15 hours/week (flexible based on supervisory load) About the Role Are you an independently licensed clinician ready to step into a leadership role without completely stepping away from direct patient care? Prairie View is seeking a Lead Outpatient Clinician to champion a dedicated team of therapists while maintaining a focused, rewarding clinical practice. In this role, you'll split your time between mentoring staff, overseeing clinical quality, and providing high-quality outpatient care across the lifespan. It's the perfect balance of clinical practice and professional leadership.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:
Provide clinical supervision, direction, and mentorship to outpatient staff. Lead team meetings, coordinate professional development, and conduct annual performance reviews.
Culture & Accountability:
Foster a supportive, high-morale work environment while ensuring the team hits organizational expectations and documentation standards.
Direct Clinical Care:
Dedicate approximately 15 hours a week to providing evaluations, individual/family therapy, and consultations for a diverse patient population (children through older adults).
Collaborative Practice:
Partner with internal multidisciplinary teams and external care providers to ensure seamless, authorized care.
What We're Looking For Licensure:
Active, independent clinical license issued by the Kansas BSRB (LSCSW, LCP, LCPC, LCMFT, or LP) in good standing.
Experience:
A strong background in mental health therapy/assessment, plus at least one (1) year of supervisory or relevant leadership experience.
Clinical Excellence:
Versed in multiple modalities (cognitive, behavioral, supportive, psychodynamic) with strong diagnostic and quality documentation skills.
Compliance:
Ability to pass the KBI background screen and Central Registry screens, and qualify for full credentialing with Prairie View. Share job details to
