RN / OR Surgery Manager /Days- No Weekends / Relocation- Overland Park KSFull-time Days / On-Call as needed
Salary Range:
$44.27 - $61.99 (based on years of experience)

Case by Case Basis What qualifications you will need: Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma ​ required, BSN preferred Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date ​Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. 3+ years of recent surgery experience in hospital setting, general surgery required 3+ years of recent leadership Charge RN or OR Manager experience. Strong robotics/orthopedics experience preferred 4 Bed Ortho/Neuro 11 Main OR Beds Our hospital serves the community's healthcare needs by providing compassionate care. Job Summary and Qualifications The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.​​​ The Manager, must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit's/area's/department's policies and procedures. Manages the daily operations of the Operating Room including the O.R. schedule, staffing, manages productivity and monitors use of premium labor Maintains the flow of the surgical schedule using staff, equipment and supplies appropriately Maintains oversight of the monthly staff schedule to maintain adequate staffing levels Acts as an effective steward of resources, monitoring and improving supply management and process improvement initiatives Analyze and report statistical data for the peri-operative service line Active member of performance improvement activities and ensures adherence to regulatory requirements. Meets and maintains risk management best practices for OR and Surgical Services Demonstrates ability to assist the physician with procedures in the operating room, set up cases and maintains AORN guidelines and hospital policy compliancy for patient safety, sterility, traffic flow in the operating room and accurate surgical counts Acts as a surgical liaison for family, support and information management. Ability to create and maintain an environment that results in above average satisfaction ratings from employees, patients, and physicians #IND7

$44.28 - $62.00 per hour
