August Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information for billing purposes
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
  • Assist with medical scheduling and coordinate patient appointments
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations of the front desk
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Qualifications:
  • Minimal of 3-5 years dental experience, endodontic experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of dental practice management software is a must (TDO is used in the practice)
  • Presenting treatment plans and collecting payments
  • Understanding dental insurances and the ability of using it in case presentation
  • Understanding productive scheduling and managing of appointments/goals
  • Ability to answer multiple phone lines and greeting patients
  • Excellent customer service and oral and written communication skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
