  • As our Medical Surgical Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, often from specialized service lines like cardiac, orthopedic, or critical care, continuously building your education and experience.

Every day you will perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage complex care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, adapting to rapidly changing needs in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will possess an enthusiastic, patient-first mindset, keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency, thriving in a dynamic clinical setting where no two days are alike.

+ Plans and provides direct patient care as well as supervision of personnel practicing in surgical service areas. Makes patient care assignments and facilitates patient throughout and directly observes staff performances.

+ Proactively matches existing resources seeking ways to provide patient care that supports staff and maintains a therapeutic environment, collaborative, team environment.

+ Assures that staffing and resources are aligned with patient care needs.

+ Communicates personnel related concerns to Nurse Manager.

+ Identifies opportunities for improvement and implements appropriate change using logical problem solving skills.
