Job Description

Overview The Clinic Manager is accountable for the supervision and implementation of methods and procedures involved in operating a doctor's office or group of doctors' offices. Responsibilities Supervises the initiation of billing, posting of daily charges and adjustments to outpatient accounts. Supervises preparation of daily bank deposits and preparation of daily income register; accounts for clinic cash receipts and deposits with Business Office daily. Supervises maintenance of clinic records and office expenditures. Coordinates activities within the clinic and various hospital departments. Selects, trains, evaluates, and disciplines clinic employees. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education Associate's Degree Required Minimum Work Experience Preferred:
Associate degree plus one (1) year experience managing a segment of a healthcare program; OR Two (2) years of experience in a hospital business office, with experience in a hospital/physician office setting and at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Basic knowledge of business and clinic procedures. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with groups, individuals, and physicians. Familiarity with physician office equipment and business machines. Accountable for maintaining clinic patient accounts. Accountable for timely and accurate billing of all outpatient accounts. Accountable for proper accounting of income received and transferred to the Business Office. Accountable for accurate and timely preparation of reports. Accountable for coordinating support services necessary to sustain clinic operations.
