As our next Behavioral Health Crisis Center Program Manager, you won't just run a program, you will be a part of a team shaping crisis care in our community. We're looking for a clinician who will serve in a direct care role as well as a leadership role of our Behavioral Health Crisis Center. The Eunoia Center is JPHSA's crisis respite center based on the "Living Room" model, which provides intervention, counseling and support services in a comfortable, calm, and spacious homelike setting.

JPHSA is a Louisiana Local Governing Entity (LGE) and special district established by state law to administer behavioral health, developmental disabilities, and related services in Jefferson Parish. JPHSA is governed by an independent Board of Directors and is not a department of Jefferson Parish government. Eligibility for Louisiana State Employees Retirement System and Deferred Compensation Plan option for supplemental tax-deferred retirement savings Student loan debt repayment, if eligible Free, nearby parking Filtered water stations Responsibilities Manages and monitors the Eunoia Center and its operations Supervises staff who operate 24/7 program Maintains and implements knowledge of the "Living Room" model of mental health crisis respite services Provides some on-call coverage as required Interacts effectively with individuals seeking services and their support people Completes screening and performs assessments and risk evaluations Assists in de-escalation, if needed Collaborates with staff in weekly meetings Supervises one professional and two paraprofessionals Develops and maintains positive and effective professional relationships with external stakeholders and referral sources Assists staff with identifying and ensuring timely access to the appropriate level of care when necessary (e.g. emergency services, behavioral health, primary care, etc.) and provides staff guidance with coordination of services through JPHSA's Centralized Care Coordination program as well as internal and external service providers Collects necessary data and completes reporting Participates in development of program policies and procedures Maintains work schedules to ensure sufficient staffing Qualifications & Skills Master's degree in psychology; social work; sociology; counseling; health services; hospital, public, health care or mental health administration; nursing; public health; education with a concentration in psychology or counseling; special education; or in other human services or behavioral science Fully licensed LCSW or LPC Three years of professional level experience providing mental health treatment High ethical standards and personal integrity Proven track record as an effective and organized team leader Commitment to improving behavioral outcomes by supporting best practices Outstanding interpersonal skills to communicate and interact pleasantly and effectively at different levels with different audiences Ability to work in a culturally competent way and consistently treat all with dignity and respect Great time management with organizational skills required to set priorities and manage workload Put your skills to work for the greater good.
