About us Reliant Specialty Infusion is an Ambulatory Infusion Clinic founded in Monroe, LA. We have 15 infusion clinics located in Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Clinical Coordinator to support scheduling and clinical coordination for patients receiving care through RSI Ambulatory Infusion Clinics. This role is responsible for helping ensure a positive, safe, and professional care experience for patients while maintaining accuracy, timely communication, and thorough documentation. Position Summary The Clinical Coordinator will review patient orders, medications, and health information to clinically clear patients for treatment using drug-specific information from package inserts. This role is responsible for contacting patients within 24 hours to schedule appointments, documenting all activities in the Electronic Medical Record, communicating scheduled patient updates to Clinic Directors and nurses, assisting with expired order management, and working with Clinic Directors to support inventory needs across RSI clinics. The Clinical Coordinator reports to the Director of Case Management and has no supervisory responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Provide friendly and professional service in person, over the phone, and through written communication. Demonstrate empathy and understanding when working with patients and caregivers of all ages. Review drug-specific requirements from package inserts to support clinical clearance of patients. Use the Electronic Medical Record system to enter information, schedule appointments, and document the scheduling process accurately. Track expiring orders and communicate the need for updated orders with ordering provider clinics. Utilize Excel to track and trend data and KPI metrics. Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, coworkers, and healthcare professionals. Prioritize workload in an organized and efficient manner. Maintain professional conduct at all times. Support ordering of supplies and product inventory. Actively participate in organizational quality and performance improvement efforts. Demonstrate commitment to Reliant Specialty Infusion's core values, mission, and strategic goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Licensed Practical Nursing degree from an accredited school. Current, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse licensure. At least three years of clinical experience, including training in infusion therapy. Current Basic Life Support provider card. Proficiency with EHR platforms, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong teamwork skills, exceptional patient care standards, and excellent customer service. This individual should be able to balance patient communication, documentation accuracy, clinical review requirements, and collaboration with internal teams while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.
