Job Description

Infusion Therapy Thibodaux, LA Nursing & Nursing Management Full Time, Days, M-F Posted 06/17/2026 Req # 7426 Participates with Cancer Center Manager in development and implementation of the philosophy and objectives for the clinical services provided at the Cancer Center.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Has clinical responsibility for Infusion Therapy and Clinic Core Areas. Assists the Cancer Center Director and Manager in the development and monitoring of operational and capital budget. Ensures appropriate charge capture and reconciliation. Performs management duties as delegated by Operations Manager, including scheduling, staffing, and patient assignments Accountable for staffing plan. Assists Operations Manager in the selection, orientation, skill development, evaluation, and discipline of clinical personnel. Provides opportunities for staff development and unit inservices as needed. Assures appropriate patient education. Analyzes nursing services to improve patient care and obtain maximum utilization of staff time and abilities to meet patient care needs. Responsible for assuring effective patient flow on a daily basis. Responsible for development and implementation of clinical standards. Delivers care with an awareness of patient's age, growth, development, cultural, and spiritual differences. Serves as liaison between Administration and Medical Staff by participating in committees as assigned by Director. Responsible for interdepartmental quality improvement in problem solving and initiates appropriate action as planned. Performs other duties as assigned Educational and/or
Professional Qualifications:
Bachelors or Associates degree in Nursing.
Previous Experience:
Five years of general nursing experience, management experience (advanced education is desirable) Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Valid registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Louisiana. ONC certification encouraged.
