Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30

Onsite 635 Albany Street Boston EPIC experience preferred 25-28/hr Contract- Through December Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scheduler / Patient Services Coordinator to support a busy clinical practice by coordinating patient appointments, maintaining medical records, and serving as a liaison between patients, physicians, and clinical staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule patient appointments, procedures, and clinical services with physicians and medical staff. Manage provider calendars to ensure efficient scheduling and patient flow. Maintain and update patient medical histories and records with accuracy and confidentiality. Provide patients with instructions regarding treatments, medications, and appointment preparation. Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and other healthcare departments to ensure continuity of care. Coordinate the receipt and review of laboratory results, imaging reports, and other diagnostic testing. Assist with patient registration, insurance verification, and appointment confirmations as needed. Evaluate clinic workflows and recommend improvements to scheduling processes and office procedures. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies regarding patient confidentiality. Deliver exceptional customer service while assisting patients in person and over the phone. Qualifications Previous experience in medical scheduling, patient services, or medical office administration preferred. EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience is a plus. Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
