  • Ongoing training, career advancement programs, tuition reimbursement, and leadership development Eliot Community Human Services is looking for an Assistant Clinical Director to help lead our Community Crisis Stabilization program.
This program serves as a 24/7 voluntary, short-term residential alternative to inpatient psychiatric hospitalization for adults experiencing mental health or substance use crises. By delivering comprehensive care, including individual, group, medication management, and aftercare we provide accessible, immediate support to individuals. The ideal Candidate is an experienced clinical leader passionate about evidence-based treatment, team development, and person-centered care. In this role, you will manage daily clinical interventions, conduct comprehensive assessments, and direct a team through hiring, supervision, and ongoing training.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement clinical practices for evidence-based treatment including targeted treatment and daily groups. Manage and direct daily clinical interventions, assessments and stabilization services for the CCS program. Hire/train all staff within the CCS program, conduct performance evaluation, work assignments and problem resolution. Provide direct supervision to all staff assigned. Provide clinical guidance and support in developing interventions and supervision of team members. Develop systems that ensure the provision of urgent and immediate access to psychopharmacological services, medication assisted treatment, and immediate therapies. Develop and implement systems to ensure warm handoffs between staff providing short term stabilization, staff providing urgent care services and CBHC Teams. Develop systems to monitor utilization and billing to match services with available revenue streams. Participate in on-call rotation to provide direct on call support to staff.
Qualifications :
Master's degree in social work or counseling, with corresponding independent licensure Four years of clinical experience, two of which were in a supervisory role. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
