Job Description

Elevate Your Clinical Career at the Forefront of Residential Treatment Whitney Academy, Inc. is a nationally recognized leader in providing specialized residential treatment for adolescent boys with cognitive impairments, complex psychiatric diagnoses, and histories of sexualized behaviors. We are seeking an Assistant Clinical Director who is passionate about clinical excellence and eager to support and collaborate under the guidance of the Clinical Director. This is more than a management role, it is an opportunity to work alongside experienced leaders, contribute to ongoing research initiatives, and present at major scientific conferences. Schedule:
Monday-Friday (Full-Time) The Opportunity As the Assistant Clinical Director, you will bridge the gap between high-level clinical strategy and frontline therapeutic success. Your work will ensure our complex patient population receives the most sophisticated care available.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Mentorship:
Provide direct clinical supervision and support to assigned clinicians (licensed or in-process).
Program Innovation:
Design and implement sophisticated behavioral interventions and provide expert oversight of comprehensive treatment plans.
Collaborative Leadership:
Partner with the Clinical Director and Directors of Program Services, Education, and Residential Services to ensure regulatory compliance and advance clinical policy.
Professional Contribution:
Engage in research and publishing opportunities alongside our nationally known clinical staff.
Requirements:
Licensure:
Independent licensure required (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) . LICSW preferred to support the supervision needs of social work staff.
Clinical Expertise:
Deep knowledge of the DSM-5 and experience with evidence-based therapies suited for residential and school settings.
Leadership Experience:
Experience in providing both clinical and administrative supervision.
