This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys helping patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play an important role in delivering an exceptional patient experience from the very first interaction. Responsibilities Register new patients via telephone, online submissions, and faxed referrals. Schedule new patient appointments according to established practice guidelines and provider availability. Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, cancellations, and waitlists to maximize schedule efficiency. Contact patients regarding appointment confirmations, scheduling changes, and follow-up appointments. Gather and verify patient demographic, insurance, and referral information. Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, referrals, and registration requirements. Coordinate referrals and obtain necessary documentation as needed. Provide phone coverage and respond professionally to incoming patient inquiries. Process incoming faxes and maintain accurate patient records. Support the administrative team with additional clerical duties as assigned. Ensure all patient interactions are handled with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail. Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency with computer systems and electronic scheduling platforms. Previous experience in a medical office, patient intake, scheduling, healthcare administration, or customer service role preferred. Experience with insurance verification and referrals is a plus.
