Part-Time Medical Receptionist and Patient Coordinator Women's Health Private Practice Middleboro, Massachusetts 27.5 hours per week | $21-$25 per hour, depending on experience Benefits and retirement plan included A well-regarded and growing gynecology practice in Middleboro is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist and Patient Services Coordinator. The practice serves women throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and is known for providing thoughtful, personalized care. This is an opportunity to join a small, collaborative team that includes two physicians, another medical administrative assistant, and two medical assistants. The person in this role will work closely with the physicians and other team members to help the practice run smoothly and provide patients with a welcoming, organized, and responsive experience. Medical-office experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train a dependable, capable person who communicates well, pays attention to detail, and enjoys helping others. Schedule
    Monday:
    7:15 a.m.-4:15 p.m.
      Tuesday:
      7:15 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
        Thursday:
        7:15 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
        • 30-minute unpaid lunch each day Responsibilities
        • Answer patient calls and route questions and messages appropriately
        • Schedule appointments and diagnostic tests
        • Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out
        • Verify patient demographic and health insurance information
        • Assist with referrals, billing-related information, and required documentation
        • Maintain accurate and organized electronic medical records
        • Format physician notes and letters on practice letterhead and transmit them securely to referring clinicians
        • Monitor inventory and order office supplies
        • Work with the physicians and other team members to respond to changing patient and practice needs
        • Take on other reasonable administrative responsibilities as needed Qualifications
        • Warm, professional, and patient-centered manner
        • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
        • Clear written and verbal communication
        • Dependability, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through
        • Comfort using computers and learning new systems
        • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Word
        • Willingness to contribute across responsibilities in a small practice
        • Ability to discuss priorities, questions, and feedback openly and constructively
        • Commitment to protecting patient privacy and confidentiality , referrals, or other medical-office procedures is helpful but not required.
