Clinical Director

Are you a Clinical Supervisor or Manager ready to take the next step into a director-level role? We will fully train you, hands-on, for this Clinical Director position — no prior clinic-director experience required. We are seeking a driven and clinically strong leader to step into a Clinical Director opportunity at our brand-new, state-of-the-art Waltham outpatient clinic. This is a strictly Monday through Friday, 40-hour-per-week position with absolutely no on-call requirements, offering the chance to grow into leadership without sacrificing work-life balance. This is a salaried Clinical Director role with a base salary plus an aggressive quarterly bonus structure — many Clinical Directors can realistically earn up to $110,000 + total between base pay and quarterly bonuses. This role is designed for LICSW and LMHC clinicians who are ready to lead, build, and shape a high-performing outpatient program from the ground up. Our new Waltham location will feature advanced telehealth capabilities alongside comprehensive behavioral health services, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), psychiatric medication management, and outpatient therapy. As Clinical Director, you will have the unique opportunity to help launch and lead this exciting new clinic with the full support of our organization. Our leadership team will provide comprehensive, hands-on, role-specific training to ensure a smooth transition into leadership — every step of the way, from day one. + State-of-the-Art Outpatient Model Lead a modern outpatient setting featuring telehealth integration, TMS, psychiatric medication management, and evidence-based therapy services in a thoughtfully designed, innovative environment. Full Hands-On Training Provided You will not step into this role alone. Our leadership team will provide direct, hands-on training tailored specifically to the Clinical Director position, walking you through every aspect of running a clinic from day one. If you're moving from a Clinical Supervisor or Manager role and haven't run a full clinic before, this training program is built to get you there. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operations of our new Waltham outpatient clinic, ensuring high-quality, compliant, patient-centered care Help establish and maintain a strong clinical and operational foundation as the clinic grows Maintain a required, dedicated therapy caseload of 8 to 9 clients per week in addition to your leadership responsibilities Recruit, train, and mentor licensed therapists and clinical staff Provide clinical leadership and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture across the clinic Partner with leadership to support strategic growth and community presence in the Waltham market Engage with the local community to promote mental health awareness and expand access to care What We're Looking For Active LICSW or LMHC in Massachusetts Recently licensed clinicians with prior leadership experience are strongly encouraged to apply Master's degree or higher in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field Proven experience supervising, mentoring, or managing staff — including experience gained prior to independent licensure as a Clinical Supervisor, Team Lead, or Manager Strong outpatient mental health background and sound clinical judgment No prior Clinical Director experience required — full training is provided A leader who is excited by the opportunity to help launch and grow a new clinic What We Offer Competitive base salary plus an aggressive quarterly bonus — paid every quarter — with realistic total earning potential of up to $110,000
