Overview Dental Experience required. Join our oral surgery practice as a patient Coordinator, where your energetic and welcoming presence will set the tone for a positive patient experience. In this vital front desk role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth clinic operations through exceptional administrative support. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help foster a friendly environment while managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical records with precision. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software WinOMS Verify insurance coverage Maintain and update patient records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems including eClinicalWorks, Meditech, or similar platforms in compliance with HIPAA regulations Review documentation for accuracy, including medical history forms, treatment plans, and insurance information Assist with intake procedures by collecting patient information and explaining office policies clearly and courteously Support administrative tasks such as filing medical records, managing office supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk environment Requirements Able to collect estimated co pays efficiently treatment planning Proven experience in a dental setting with strong knowledge of dental terminology Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Meditech, WinOMS Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry tasks Multi-Tasking Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment; flexible to adapt to changing priorities Join us in creating a welcoming atmosphere where patients feel valued from their very first contact! Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
