Job Description

We are a growing Pediatric, Adult & Orthodontic Practice looking for a dynamic patient coordinator to join our team!! If you are reliable, organized and have a minimum of 1 year of dental experience, we encourage you to apply! In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring day-to-day operations by managing appointments, handling patient inquiries and supporting the clinical team with administrative needs. Your proactive communication and organizational skills will help facilitate efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and effective coordination between patients and clinical staff. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive check-in/check-out experience Answer phone calls and respond to voicemails and emails in a timely manner Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Verify insurance information, update changes, calculate and collect co-payments or outstanding balances Assist patients with completing necessary forms and explain procedures related to their visits Manage patient records including updating treatment plans Coordinate with providers to facilitate timely patient care and follow-up appointments Maintain a clean and organized front office environment, ensuring a polished and professional atmosphere Develop and maintain relationships with patients, fostering a positive and welcoming experience Requirements Dental experience is a must Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities Proficiency in Open Dental software is preferred Attention to detail and basic math skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures We offer Continuing Education Credits Uniform Allowance Health Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Paid Sick Time Employee/Family Discount Referral Bonus Annual Birthday luncheons Team Building Activities/Outings If you are passionate about providing superior customer service in a dental practice setting, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Patient Coordinator.
