Job Description

Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is excited to welcome an Administrator-in-Training to learn from our seasoned Licensed Nursing Home Administrator! Under the supervision of our administrator, you will learn the day-to-day operations of running a skilled nursing facility while better understanding the departments and personnel that make up the team. Plymouth Rehab is a 152-bed skilled nursing facility offering short-term care and long-term rehab located at 123 South Street in Plymouth. Salaried role up to $60,000 with weekly pay. During your AIT internship, you will be able to: Assist with managing day-to-day operations. Immerse yourself in the laws and regulations on a federal and state level. Understand how to build bonds and trust with residents and their loved ones. Communicate with team members to understand their role and how it impacts the facility. Fulfill your required hours to sit for your exam. And much more! Our team will assist in the state application process including the written request form for the proposed AIT internship, a letter from the proposed preceptor, the detailed outcome of the proposed AIT internship, and the signed agreement between preceptor and candidate. Education A bachelor's degree or a master's degree in appropriate education to meet the state requirement for the program such as healthcare or business administration. Prior experience working in skilled nursing or another healthcare setting is preferred. Specific Requirements The ability to read, write, understand, and speak the English language. Must possess strong leadership and supervisory skills as well as the ability to make decisions independently. Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, staff, government agencies, and the general public. Must be willing to accommodate the schedule of the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
