Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and organized Patient Care Coordinator to support the front desk operations of our outpatient physical therapy clinic. This is a patient-facing position focused primarily on welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, collecting co-payments, assisting patients with the check-in kiosk, and completing basic administrative tasks. This position does not involve insurance verification, billing, or extensive phone responsibilities. Primary Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Check patients in and assist them with the clinic's check-in kiosk Provide additional assistance to new patients completing the check-in process Schedule and confirm patient appointments Collect co-payments and provide receipts when needed Make copies of identification cards, insurance cards, and patient paperwork Scan, copy, and organize basic documents Answer or direct occasional basic patient questions Notify the appropriate team member when a patient requires additional assistance Keep the front desk and reception area neat and organized Complete other basic front desk duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients Dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule Basic computer and data-entry skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle payments accurately Willingness to learn scheduling and check-in systems Prior receptionist, customer service, retail, or healthcare experience is helpful but not required What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate is approachable, patient, reliable, and comfortable helping people who may need assistance with technology or paperwork. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys a structured, patient-facing role with straightforward administrative responsibilities. Hours Approximately 30 hours per week. Availability may include a combination of morning, afternoon, and early evening shifts based on clinic needs.
