Full Job Description Overview:
At Mondovi Dental supported by Smile Brands, we believe exceptional patient care starts the moment a patient walks through the door. Our Southwick office is seeking a friendly, organized, and service-focused Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about creating positive experiences and helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their visit. As a key member of our front office team, you'll help create a welcoming environment while supporting scheduling, patient communication, insurance coordination, and daily office operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with patients, we'd love to meet you. Schedule (days/hours): Monday-Thursday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and a positive first impression Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately Schedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow to support an exceptional office experience Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with questions regarding coverage and payment options Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service Support treatment acceptance by helping patients understand next steps and financial arrangements Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times Partner closely with doctors, hygienists, and team members to deliver seamless patient care
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in a dental, healthcare, or customer service environment preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and dental insurance processes preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment Experience with dental software systems is a plus
Compensation:
$20-$27/hour
