As a succesful Dental Patient Coordinator , you will be responsible for the following: : Schedule patient exams and treatment. Coordinate referral appointments with community dentists. Answer phones and address patient questions in a professional manner. Attain insurance verification and eligibility for each patient prior to patient visit. Enter insurance benefits for each patient into practice management software, including any special requirements or limitations. Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g, OSHA, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, Employee Handbook). You will be required to possess the following: : Extreme detail orientation and comfort working independently. WinOms or other Dental Practice Management Software experience (preferred). Three (3) or more years of dental experience (preferred). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the desire for professional growth. Professional appearance. Be organized and possess a superior knowledge of dentistry. Our organization is looking for a Patient Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, collecting patient information, and providing general administrative support. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with dental staff. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of data. Provide treatment information to patients about their dental care. Answer phone calls and emails from patients and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Handle patient complaints and provide solutions in a professional manner. Assist in resolving billing issues and other administrative tasks.
