Job Description:
- Assist with scheduling of the patients' diagnostic and treatment appointments, tests and procedures
- Provide support to clinical teams with clinic activities preparation and conduct
- Attend weekly clinic planning meeting and send out weekly clinic schedule to appropriate staff involved with patient care.
- Assist in development of the documentation packages for patients and distribute the packages to the patients
- Communicate with outside hospitals assisting clinical team in processing patient medical documentation
- Schedule foreign language and sign interpretation services.
- Assist each eligible patient and their family member/significant other with completion of
- an extended visitor's pass and direct them to the NIH Clinical Center badging station.
- Assist the research team with scheduled patient admission and payments for travel/lodging
- Arrange for lodging as appropriate, in coordination with social work department
- Serve as liaison between clinical team and other NIH departments
- Maintain a current electronic tracking system and supportive documentation for all communications
- Assist research staff with monitoring/audit preparation and perform additional duties as directed by the research team
