Purpose:

Partners in Abortion Care is seeking a full-time Manager of Patient Advocacy & Coordination who understands the complicated intersections of a patient's life and experiences. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced, detail-oriented, and excited to be part of a rapidly growing and fast-paced organization. The anticipated schedule of this position is Monday to Friday (approximately 40 hours FTE). At this time, Partners in Abortion Care offers the following benefits: 12 weeks paid parental leave, 11 paid holidays, PTO, sick leave, & health insurance benefits.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of three scheduling associates Work directly with abortion funds and practical support organizations to support the financial, logistical and practical needs of people seeking abortion care Design and implement a funding and logistical support system Deliver trauma-informed case management to patients seeking abortion care, connecting individuals to abortion support and other socioeconomic support as needed Create and implement scripts and resources for schedulers, including resources for working with patients who have experienced various forms of trauma Report weekly income from abortion funds to the accounting team Process and send invoices for patient fees and ensure the timely payment of invoices from abortion funds Build and adjust patient care schedules in collaboration with the clinical care team leads Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

MSW Degree or extensive experience working with abortion service organizations, care coordination, and/or crisis hotline experience strongly preferred 5 years of management experience Second language proficiency, preferred Experience with trauma-informed care, preferred Partners in Abortion Care LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
