Job Description

Hope House Treatment Centers is seeking a Director of Treatment that can help us carry forward our traditions of recovery with unconditional kindness. The ideal candidate will be both an outstanding provider of substance use disorder counseling, and a strong leader for our counseling team. JOB SUMMARY
: Working under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Director of Treatment is a visible leader responsible for managing the Counseling Department. This position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of client educational/therapeutic activities; clinical and administrative supervision of counseling staff; review and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures; design, monitoring, and participation in departmental CQI activities; utilization review and supervision of admission activities to determine appropriate levels of care; development and implementation of program changes designed to meet the needs of the population served.
DUTIES:
Provide clinical oversight and supervision of counselors, treatment aids, and support services staff. Provide individual and group counseling in accordance to treatment plans and professional industry standards. Maintain documentation, client files, and data management as required by agency policies and funding sources. Utilize and implement best evidence-based practices, research and programming trends. Possess current knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques, judicial systems and community resources.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree required (preferably in social work, human services, behavioral health); CAC-AD; Must have at least 3 solid years of work experience in substance and behavioral health services; Minimum 5 years work experience in the capacity of administrative supervision and oversight.
