Hagerstown, MD Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and completing diagnostic testing based on patients eligible for each diagnostic test.

Responsibilities:

Completing the necessary diagnostic tests based on the medical eligibility of the patient Identifying eligible patients to complete any of the diagnostic tests Working efficiently with staff to achieve a smooth workflow Reporting testing totals (daily and weekly) to necessary supervisors for proactive tracking and reporting Bringing any concerns or issues to the managers if compelled to do so Coming in with a patient first mentality and providing the best bedside manner

Skills:

Proficient in medical terminology and documentation systems Experience in outpatient and inpatient medical settings Ability to perform basic life support measures when necessary Familiarity with coding practices for accurate billing Strong organizational skills to manage patient flow effectively Knowledge of private practice protocols and HIPAA rules

Location:

One office, in Hagerstown, MD Days of the week: Monday through Friday Hours per week: 40 hours
