Job Description

Lagos Dental Centre is a brand-new, modern dental practice opening in Olney, MD, built around a boutique patient experience where hospitality meets exceptional dentistry. We're looking for a warm, organized Patient Experience Coordinator to become one of our founding team members — someone who wants to help build something from the ground up. You'll be the first smile our patients see and the first voice they hear, and you'll help shape what that experience looks like as the practice grows. Responsibilities Welcome patients and manage front desk check-in/check-out Answer phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient communication Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Discuss financial arrangements and collect payments Support treatment presentation and case acceptance alongside the doctor Help build and improve front-office systems and workflows as a founding team member Contribute to social media and community marketing: behind-the-scenes content, patient success stories (with permission), Google review generation, and Facebook/Instagram presence Qualifications Dental or medical front-office experience preferred Experience with dental insurance verification a plus Experience with practice management software a plus Social media, photography, or content creation experience a plus Excellent communication skills and a genuinely welcoming, patient-first attitude Comfortable learning new technology and improving processes Reliable, organized, and energized by the pace of a startup practice Benefits Real opportunity to grow into an Office Manager, Treatment Coordinator, or Marketing Coordinator role as we expand Mentorship and ongoing training Modern, technology-driven office Why Lagos Dental Centre This isn't a clock-in, clock-out job. $22.74 - $26.00 per hour
