Referral Coordinator Remarkable Between Patient Care! Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a customer-focused Referral Coordinator to serve as a key connection between patients and their healthcare team. In this role, you'll provide exceptional service by handling all aspects of the referral process, including authorizations and follow-up.
What You'll Do:
Contact insurance companies and obtains authorization for specific plans. Educate patients and staff with pertinent referral and insurance information. Obtains urgent authorizations same day and next day. Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments. Answer questions, route calls appropriately, and relay messages to clinical staff. Verify patient registration and insurance information. Support referrals, authorizations, and patient outreach activities. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Test tracks the referrals until fulfilled by the patient.

CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE
None
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
