Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient-Centered Care Coordinator (PCC) to serve as the first point of contact for our patients in a busy audiology private practice. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and positive patient experience while ensuring smooth daily office operations. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates and are willing to work with the right individual to create a schedule that fits the needs of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls professionally and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and general inquiries. Greet patients warmly upon arrival and provide exceptional customer service. Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes. Assist patients with completing intake and registration forms. Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to appointments. Collect, scan, and update insurance cards and other required documentation. Process patient payments, co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances accurately. Maintain accurate payment records and assist with basic billing-related inquiries. Scan, organize, and maintain patient paperwork and records within the electronic health record system. Manage incoming and outgoing office documents, including filing and shredding confidential paperwork in accordance with privacy regulations. Assist patients with basic hearing aid maintenance. Help patients connect hearing aids to smartphones and other compatible devices. Provide basic troubleshooting support for hearing aid concerns and determine when clinical assistance is needed. Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front office environment. Ensure patient information is handled with confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Comfortable using computers, scanners, payment processing systems, and electronic health record (EHR) software. Previous medical office, reception, customer service, insurance verification, or administrative experience preferred but not required. Experience with hearing aids is not required. Training will be provided for hearing aid cleaning, smartphone connectivity, and basic troubleshooting. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude.

Pay:
