Growing modern office in Grand Rapids, SE, is seeking a positive, compassionate, detail-oriented, team member with great customer service, organizational, and communication skills to join our dental office business team at the front desk. You have strong follow through skills and are customer focused while being a self-starter. We are looking for someone who values being a team player, exceptional customer service, continuous growth and learning, and evolving to better serve our patients. Key Tasks The requirements listed below are representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Greeting patients by name in personal and over the phone Answering telephones Scheduling and confirming appointments Entering patient information into the office computerized system Insurance verification Collect and post payments including credit card transactions Review treatment plans with patients, make financial arrangements, and schedule according to scheduling guidelines Electronically submit/prepare insurance claims Characteristics Excellent customer service orientation Ability to communicate effectively in a professional and courteous manner in person, over the telephone, via email, and text Effectively participate as a team member with the office team and entiredental practice team Committed to the protection of confidential information, records and/or reports Good organizational skills Good computer skills Requirements Excellent Customer Service required Previous successful experience in an administrative role within a dental office or healthcare setting a plus Experience using computers, various computer software systems, MS Office and/or Google software Understanding of insurance procedures and claims is desired Strong telephone, communication, and time management skills Must be a people person with a great attitude and attention to detail Must be organized Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing the English language Contemporary Family Dental offers employment opportunities that promote professional, personal, and financial growth.
