Lambertville Secor Road Job Summary:
The Manager, Rehabilitation, oversees and manages comprehensive rehabilitation services encompassing Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Athletic Training, and personal training staff. This role is responsible for developing policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering quality care standards. The Manager supports strategic planning, fiscal operations, and marketing initiatives under leadership guidance.
Essential Functions:
Establishes and maintains goals, policies, and procedures for Rehabilitation Departments. Promotes progressive service development across all sub-departments. Ensures delivery of high-quality rehabilitation services by assessing patient needs and designing effective rehabilitation programs. Determines staffing requirements for economic service delivery, ensuring staff members are qualified and competent. Collaborates with rehabilitation teams, physicians, nursing administration, and ancillary department directors to ensure seamless patient care delivery. Develops, administers, and monitors departmental operating and capital budgets. Explores new revenue sources and proposes new programs to meet financial goals. Implements cost-effective measures as needed. Assists in hiring, training, and orienting new staff members. Required Licensing & Certifications:
Active license in state of practice for one of the following areas: Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Speech Language Pathology, Athletic Training (required) BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire for RSFH)
Experience:
Five years clinical experience in area of specialty (preferred at BSMH, required at RSFH) Two years of supervisory experience (preferred at BSMH, required at RSFH)
Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrates appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures and guidelines in caring for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Demonstrates general computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management. Analytical abilities to evaluate patient condition, capabilities and progress. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact with co-workers, physicians, patients and families. Demonstrates critical thinking skills. Effective organizational and time management skills.
