Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient interactions. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between patients and medical staff, ensuring smooth appointment scheduling, patient support, and administrative coordination to enhance the overall patient experience. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures to foster a positive first impression. Schedule appointments efficiently using medical office software, ensuring optimal utilization of provider time. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. Support medical staff by preparing patient charts, managing documentation, and handling administrative tasks. Assist with insurance verifications and authorizations to facilitate timely payments and reduce errors. Maintain a clean, organized reception area that complies with health and safety standards. Experience Prior experience working in a medical or dental office environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures is essential. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience supporting medical staff with administrative duties such as chart preparation or billing is advantageous. Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
