Job Description
Summary:
Bonobo Winery is seeking a Hospitality & Events Manager to join our growing management team. Candidates will be highly talented at balancing the delivery of an exceptional guest experience while maintaining focus on executing a variety of events. The manager will be responsible for managing functions in creative and proactive ways and providing support and leadership to staff to ensure a high standard of service.Responsibilities:
Tasting Room Assist in management of the day-to-day operations of the tasting room, including opening and/or closing duties, overseeing staff, and guest activity. Provide excellent and professional customer service to guests, including answering questions about wines, making recommendations, and processing sales in a fast paced environment. Manage the scheduling, planning and execution of winery experiences including Bonobo's reservation system. Promote and educate staff and guests on Bonobo Winery programs including private events and winery events Maintain a clean and organized tasting room environment. Coordinate with various vendors and suppliers that support the tasting room and events. Events Lead the ideation, creation and execution of winery directed events and programs such as wine club dinners, charitable events, seasonal events, etc. Manage the logistics and execution of privately booked events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, showers, corporate events, etc. Develop and implement comprehensive pre & during event execution plans, including timelines, checklists, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event. Ensure events are executed flawlessly, meeting client expectations and Bonobo standards. Support the back of house hospitality manager on event bookings, pre planning logistics and client communication. Conduct post-event comms to assess successes and areas for improvement. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the Winery events Oversee the event spaces, ensuring they are prepared and well maintained for various events including proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in hospitality or similar field 3+ years of experience in the restaurant, events or hospitality industry Proven experience in event execution Attention to detail and an eye for creative, stylish, polished aesthetic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Motivated & versatile self starter who is OK with wearing many hats and being team player Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking skills Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and decisive mindset Flexibility in 40 hour week makeup-available weekdays, weekends and holidays. Able to stoop and bend , stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds A passion for wine & learning is a bonus.Job Type:
