Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist/Patient Coordinator to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator that ensures a smooth patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors to their follow-up care. Your energetic approach and exceptional communication skills will help manage appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient inquiries while maintaining accurate medical records and supporting clinic operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of patient care, providing vital administrative support in a fast-paced dental environment. Duties Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient front desk experience Schedule, reschedule, t and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft Verify insurance benefits, and handle billing inquiries with accuracy and professionalism Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient questions promptly and efficiently Assist with intake procedures, ensuring all patient information is complete and up-to-date Maintain accurate, confidential patient records ensuring compliance with privacy regulations Assist with processing payments, and follow up on outstanding balances Assist with treatment plans, financial options, and post-care instructions to patients Coordinate between patients, providers, and team members for seamless care delivery Support daily operations Follow up on unscheduled treatment and help maintain productive provider schedules Qualifications Dental knowledge and Experience required Proficiency in Eagle soft strongly preferred Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dental billing, collections Knowledge of Dental codes Patient communication & customer service Scheduling optimization & multitasking Compliance & confidentiality (HIPAA standards)
